Milena Delcheva, registered massage therapist (rmt)
Melina's passion to help people took off after she graduated as a physiotherapist from Bulgaria's Medical University in 1996. She worked as a physiotherapist in a Children’s Hospital for seven years. Her past 15 years have included treating patients at Spa Utopia as a non-registered massage therapist until completion of the 3000 hours program, which included 500 massage training hours, at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in April 2017. Upon graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Heart Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence. She continued her treatments as an RMT at Spa Utopia and Moveo Sport & Rehabilitation Centre.Milena values the importance of collaborating with her patients to set the goals for each treatment. She utilizes a number of techniques for the treatment depending on the desired outcomes of her patients. Tony Delchev, registered massage therapist (rmt)
Tony graduated as a physiotherapist from the Medical University in Bulgaria in 1995. He gained his rehabilitation experience working in a clinic for orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation in Bulgaria and Germany.In 2010, Tony graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Since graduating, he has focused on working primarily with individuals who benefit from a variety of techniques applied with moderate to deep pressure. Tony’s massage experience and skills integrate several modalities from Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Rehabilitation Injury, Postural Assessment, End Range Loading and MET.Tony strongly believes in the positive effects of massage therapy in injury prevention and post injury related rehabilitation. Samantha Jennings, Dr. of tcm, Registered Acupuncturist
Samantha is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Registered Acupuncturist, and Practitioner of Sound Healing & Educator, with over 37 years of experience in Oriental Medicine. She began her training in 1983, first practicing a Japanese form of acupressure, and then graduating from the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, Victoria, in 1993, where she was fortunate to have trained in Classical Five Element Acupuncture as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).She is also a graduate of the Academy of Botanical Medicine: California School of Herbal Studies, and offers both Oriental and Western botanical medicine, as well as completing the two-year professional training in Hakomi: Body-Centered Psychotherapy.Her specialties are Five Element spiritually-based acupuncture, acupressure and vibrational medicine, integrating the application of Sound Healing in the form of tuning forks and essential oils on acupoints. At the front of the building, you will find three 20-minute visitor parking spots. At the back of the building on the ground level, you will find five 2-hour visitor and two handicap parking spots. There are three reserved parking spots on the rooftop for Harbourside Health patients.
