Some food was a little salty but the portion sizes are generous. Too much batter on tempura items. The menu is Canadianized as are most Chinese restaurants but I found they have more items to choose from. The Specials that they have for Families of 4 or 5 are pretty decent. Fast service and a convenient location with easily accessible parking.

Thanks you for all the care you put into your food. Never greasy or old always fresh ( even the veggies fresh not frozen) hot to order. Thank you for making special orders for glutin free and allergie options also vegatarian frendly food . You are always so happy and kind and patient with question and concerns. Ive been coming here since i moved a couple minutes down the street almost 10 years ago and i have yet to be disappointed! Serving sizes are huge, and are all under 10 dollars. All the food i have tried has been amazing and i highly recommend the sesame chicken and mostly the shanghai noodles. Really great mom and pop restaurant, only negative is the limited seating but everyone orders take-out. Dont listen to the review beneath mine buddy has no idea whats good.

This is the Mandarin we always go to in our home town. The staff is always friendly, cleanliness of the restaurant is always excellent, and the food and desserts are always bountiful and fresh! I give it 4 stars. The only thing I don't like, is when they ask if I've been there before! I am now a regular!!!! Oh well. Keep up the great work!

Let me start off by first saying the portions are generous and the food is delicious (especially the general tao chicken which is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet). The service was great and made sure we were enjoying our meal.
As a resident of Aurora, I (like the previous reviewer) used to need to go south to either Richmond Hill or Markham before I get a taste of authentic Chinese food but now that I have discovered a local gem I am highly impressed.
All I can say is bon appetite!

This Mandarin is still pretty new and clean inside so that is definately a big plus if cleaniness is important to you. The food selection is pretty good and some dishes are actually pretty good. The roast beef is good as well as their crab legs and fired shrimp. Kids really like going here. If you like buffets, give this location a try.
