Wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, good food, staff is always so friendly. Good deal when they have the early bird special. Went in October. The man that served my family had a darker complexion, very friendly and charismatic! Had a unique name that I wish I could remember. He joked around with us and gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday. Absolutely want to go back and have him serve us again... he was honestly the best waiter Ive ever had. Lire plus

We went here tonight as a family for a simple family dinner. I am very impressed by the clean quiet family atmosphere. Then came the menus that were filled with very fair priced items for dinner for all of us. When dinner came out I was absolutely positively impressed. I have been to bobbies a number of times over the last 10 years and I have loved their breakfast every time and have invited many of my friends with me. It is worth it. I first visited Allen's back in the 80's, not long after it opened, and I was instantly smitten. So much so, in fact that I moved into the neighbourhood! First I was a regular, then a nuisance, and finally a piece of furniture. I finally moved back to Markham in 1998, and cannot justify going anywhere south of Steeles Avenue without stopping into Allen's for lunch. The food is imaginative, superbly prepared, and so delicious, that even when I'm full, I often look at the menu again, just to see what I'll be ordering on my next visit! And the patio?
