I have not been to a Jack Astors in some years but was happy with my choice 1 week ago. Both my Husband and I had a salad to start and fish for entree. We both left there very full and satisfied. Now our server was obviously hungover and not doing the greatest job, but there was always a manager, hostess or another server to get what we needed. I was satisfied and would most definitly return. Found your restaurant online when searching for good places to eat in oakville. We stopped in for lunch just after 1 p.m. saturday. while there was a bit of a line,mit moved quickly and we were soon seated. We had the pear and butternut squash soup, a grilled chicken sandwich and blackened salamon salad. all of the food was exceptional! Staff was friendly and welcoming. we are very happy to have found the this jewel of a restaurant and look forward to our next visit. Well done! Lire plus

I have been at this restaurant twice. The first time was just ok. However the second visit left my guest and myself wanting more. So a group of us are going next week. My guest said that she felt comfortable not rushed and the servers were very pleasant. Food was very good and at the proper temperature. I recently had lunch (3rd time) at Envers of Morriston, and WOW. What an amazing little secret just south of Guelph. The food was amazing, and watching the Chefs walk out to the garden and get the vegetables and herbs that were going into my food was refreshing. The food was absolutely amazing.
