I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park. Lire plus

.......you want to go back! The Blackshire is a great place to have a beer.Recently taken over by new owners, this place has a new life. Most food is locally sourced and the beer has a local theme too. Sonita tries to get beer from within 100 miles of the pub, and a lot of the food is sourced from the same area. The menu is upscale pub food with a seasonal twist. Spring Leek Salad, Local Lamb, Crab Apple Salad, fondue with cheese made with local beer, etc.I usually get the fondue as the portion is huge and it is about $10.00, or I get wings in the evening when they are half price. FIre and ice are great!The place has a large patio which is usually fairly busy. Inside, it is typical pub decor with a homey feel to it. Pub quiz night is a solid night to go on to get to know the owners and regulars. I find it better to go to the bar to order your drinks, as table service can be a bit lacking. Taps total 20, including Railway City, Stratford, Creemore,Black Oak, Great Lakes, Steamwhistle, and the bottle selection is limited but has included many micros. I’ll return for the harder to get Ontario micros they seem to always get. Worth checking out. Lire plus

Such a good place to have breakfast/lunch! I went here for lunch during my lunch period in school and they were very considerate on our time limit, they rushed our order and it was amazing food and not at a bad price either! My husband and I snuck in before a Knight's game and were able to get a table right away even though it was packed. The singing mushrooms were incredible and I'd go back just for them. The service was great. Our waiter was very pleasant to talk to and he was quick bringing our order out. Lire plus

Of course, it goes without saying that the hamburgers are second to none, and there's chicken and fish if you are that way inclined, but the lesser known salads are the best value in town, especially the Mandarin Chicken salad which, at $6.99, can not be beaten anywhere ... in my opinion. I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Lire plus

I brought in a tour group of 33 people and the manager Jodi and her staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They provided great service and the food was very good. The group all voted they would go back again! Thank you so much! Our travel date was on 9/24/11 and arrived around 6:15pm for dinner. It was also nice being a family restaurant you could order wine, beer etc. One of the ladies in our group was having a birthday and the staff provided a slice of choc. cake and sang Happy B-day! Went here with friends. They been here before My wife and I had not. Our server ask if we been before and then helped us on some questions we had about the menu. Dave was very helpful with our decisions. He did not rush us and was very patient. Our english is not great but he was able to understand and help us with deciding. The wrap and roll platter was a great taste of different items and coconut shrimp was very good. We order many different dishes to try and share. Dave mentioned they were big portions and he was right. We had lots of leftovers for next day. The decor was very nice and relaxing. not very busy though. Look forward to coming back and enjoying another nice evening wih great food and service. Lire plus

When I was told we were going here for dinner I was no amused. Boring bad bar food is all I could think of but biy was I surprised. We visited on a Friday night and were greeted by an extra happy gent who showed us to a nice comfy booth. Our waitress was equally as cheery -- like REALLY cheery. She told us the specials, filled up our cups without asking and was super fast on her feet. The fish and chips were outstanding. The 2 fish portions were huge and not too battery, the fries were just okay. The steak was cooked perfectly. I got the mushroom salad with grilled chicken and was blown away by the taste and size -- salads usually disappoint. VERY happy and probably will return. Lire plus

While visiting London, we had Pizzas delivered to our hotel and it was very fast and hot! Good food and a great price! We ordered food after midnight after we got back from our hockey game.
